New York City Designs Retention Tanks for Sewer Overflows

The City of New York is currently working on a design for two combined sewage and storm water overflow (CSO) retention tanks and securing functionality of locations for the tanks to be installed. Sewer Reconstruction Advisory for Batavia

The town of Batavia is beginning a sewer rehabilitation project at the beginning of the month. The Washington Avenue Sewer Project is expected to impact traffic once construction begins. Washington Avenue will be limited to local traffic only in the specific section that is being worked on. The first section to be closed off will be Bank Street to Summit Street, followed by Summit Street to Ross Street. Sewer Construction Advisory for Section of the Bronx

A major sewer system construction project is now under way in the Kingsbridge Heights area of the Bronx.  In light of this, traffic is expected to be in disarray and water supply may be randomly cut through the end of the year. The New York City Department of Design and Construction (DDC) is overseeing the project that will replace worn out mains, install catch basins and hydrants, and restore roadways.
