Local village receiving funds needed for sewer repairs

The Village of Manorhaven has received almost $1 million in bonds for their needed improvements to their aging sewer system. Approx. $250,000 will be used for plan and specs with the rest used for improvements. The project will include 4,400 linear feet of pipelining and the rehabilitation of two manholes. Neither projects will disturb land or require traditional dig and replace. This is the first phase of the village’s sewer project. Work is expected to begin in late fall.
